There aren't many good mechanical switches to choose from when playing with LEDs.

In the past two years, magnetic switches have seen extremely rapid iterations in RGB lighting, such as dual-LED PCBs and the prism refraction structure of the new eight-treasure switches. In contrast, there aren't many mechanical switches optimized for RGB. 

Currently, no one on the market can simultaneously maximize RGB lighting, muffled sound, and cost-effectiveness. Objectively speaking, the fluorescent white switch has only found a niche within this "impossible triangle."

We believe there is still a lot of room for improvement in the optical performance of mechanical switches, which is the original intention of making fluorescent white switches.

The switch is free of any fancy colors; instead, they are made of an extremely pure cool white using optical brighteners. Combined with a frosted light guide co-developed with Yushu, the light from the base lamp is not blocked or swallowed by the physical structure. Instead, it undergoes high-frequency diffuse reflection within the cool white base, and finally, the light is fully and evenly focused and emitted through the light guide.

Especially now that the trend of transparent keycaps is towards "frosted" and "soft light", the visual impact of fluorescent white switches after installation is outstanding.

A universal choice that doesn't discriminate based on kit type
The fluorescent white switch has a sound signature that leans towards a clean midrange.

Frankly, the sound of this switch isn't particularly distinctive, because our design goal was to create a highly versatile switch. Its sound is crisp and understated, faithfully reproducing the overall quality of the kit.

If you have a new keyboard and are unsure which switch type to choose, fluorescent white switches are a foolproof, all-purpose option.

Bustdown x Swagkeys Joint Development

The excellent performance of the Fluorescent White switch is the result of a collaboration between Bustdown and Swagkeys, a pioneer in Korean custom keyboards. Both companies shared a highly aligned understanding of the switch's positioning, leading to their joint development. In addition to regular retail sales, the Fluorescent White switch will also be featured in Swagkeys' upcoming finished keyboard project. Stay tuned!
